Our Design Process

The process begins with a Free In Home consultation or a visit to our showroom where we will discuss your project details. We will ask you what you like and dislike about your current space. We will ask you questions about the general styles you like such as Traditional, Transitional, Contemporary, Rustic, or Eclectic. During this visit we may ask if you have collected photographs, magazine clippings, website addresses, or anything else that caught your eye regarding your design. We will take detailed measurements so we can evaluate your project and recommend the best use of every precious square foot of space. What time line you would you like to have your new space completed? Have you thought about what you can invest in your new space? The valuable information gathered in this meeting provides us with the focus to create the one of a kind space that you desire.

The Design Process Begins

 We utilize the latest in computerized CAD design tools to ensure accurate results. We continually participate in advanced course training with the software creator to make sure we are always on the cutting edge of design and able to bring our clients the best that technology has to offer.

Create the Plan

 Once you elect to retain us for your project we will produce detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D previews of your project from multiple angles in photo-realistic color. This allows you to really get that feeling of being in your new space. We can modify or refine what you see as much as you need.
All projects must begin with plan. Without a detailed plan, there is no controlling the direction of the project. There is no process to control the budget. There is no communication and the project is doomed before it starts. We take the worry out of the project and guide you every step of the way.

Product Selections

Once the Plan has been assembled, we move on to the selection of the right products that will make your dreams become a reality. During this phase we will introduce you to our quality manufacturers of cabinetry, counter tops, decorative tile, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and any other necessary products. Because we have a Plan, the selection process has been refined to show you the products that will define your style.

Trade Partner Evaluations

We schedule visits by our talented trade partners to evaluate the project based on the details of our new Plan. This includes our plumber, electrician, or any other specialist that we need input from. Our trade partners offer another advantage, they help us avoid pitfalls that cause delays and added expense to ensure your project is a success.

The Project Budget

The final step is to assemble this information in a clear and concise format to illustrate what your actual project costs will be. The detail of this document is what we believe sets us apart from the others in this field. Your project costs are representative of exactly what we have selected together rather than an allowance provided by an estimator that uses an industry standard price format. You will have the peace of mind knowing that your specifications have been met and your project will be accomplished without hidden costs.

Because we are also a licensed general contractor you are assured of a “one on one” experience. We maintain communication with you throughout your project advising and answering questions.
